A couple who had just returned from their honeymoon came home to find a 7ft python in their bathroom.

According to evidence from one of the oldest meteorites, the solar system could be around two million years older than previously thought.

Axl Rose, the front man of rock band Guns’N'Roses, has had his Twitter account hacked by an intruder.
The hacker tweeted that all of the dates for the band’s forthcoming European tour had been cancelled.

Ron Svenden, a retired teacher from Massachusetts, USA, had been suffering from shallow breathing for months – so when doctors found a grainy spot on his lung during an X-ray, he had to prepare himself for a diagnosis of cancer.

The biggest ever wasps nest to be discovered in Britain was found in a pub attic in Southampton. The nest measured a jaw-dropping 6ft by 5ft and housed around 500,000 wasps.
