Ryan Murphy, the director of the hit TV show Glee, has admitted that Susan Boyle will feature in a Christmas-themed episode as a dinner lady.

The director also said that Paul McCartney had written suggesting his music should be included on the show.

The show, which is based around a group of misfits in a high school choir has taken the UK and US by storm recently, and people of all ages have fallen in love with it – including Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney.

Glee has been put forward for 19 Emmys, and considering this is its first season on the box – that’s pretty impressive!

Following the success of Madonna and Lady Gaga-themed episodes in the first season, the new season is expected to include music from Britney Spears.

There will also be one other episode in the new season dedicated to one artist – and this is widely thought to be the late Michael Jackson. This will come as great news to fans of the King of pop and of the show.
